Welcome one and all to this, my new political journal.
Since taking down the Dominion Pages (DP) nearly a year ago, I have come to very much miss journaling on politics without the pressure of crafting clever (one hopes) and lengthy newspaper columns. Writing for the Guelph Mercury continues to be my central commitment to political and cultural commentary (you can find a running list of my columns over on the right, courtesy of ‘The Merc’), but I feel ready to complement that material with some informal writing on issues of interest.
As I did over at the DP prior to retiring that site, most entries here will deal with international relations and North American politics. But this new site will also feature some additional commentary on broader cultural issues.
The DP’s old readers (both of you) will feel right at home here. The focus is still IR and North American politics; only this time with marginally less exclusivity.
Stick around, get in touch, and don’t let me get away with any non-sense.

Hey dude! Thanks for the link. I have taken a lengthy hiatus from blogging, having lost all motivation to do any of it. We’ll see when the itch strikes me again, but until it does, my blog will remain dormant. that doesn’t mean I won’t be stopping by here to read what you have to say.
